A Shift-Deflation Technique for Computing a Large Quantity of Eigenpairs of the Generalized Eigenvalue Problems

In this paper, we propose a shift-deflation technique for the generalized eigenvalue problems. This consists of following two stages: shift converged eigenvalues to zeros, and deflation these shifted eigenvalues. By performing above technique, construct new problem with lower dimension which shares same original except ones. addition, consider relations eigenvectors before after technique. Finally, numerical experiments show effectiveness robustness proposed method.
